Customer application

Privacy Policy

Effective 25 August 2026

Information handled by this application

We handle customer contact details, property address and coordinates, household energy information, selected products, estimate and acceptance records, project status, support information, and security or usage events needed to operate the application. When a Solar analysis is requested, the property location and technical request parameters are used to obtain roof, imagery and solar-potential information.

How information is used

Information is used to prepare and deliver the requested energy-system proposal, model an indicative roof layout and savings outlook, maintain the customer portal and project workflow, process authorised payment steps, prevent abuse, control third-party API spend, and meet operational or legal record-keeping needs.

Service providers

We use contracted technology providers for mapping and Solar analysis, hosting, database storage, email, observability and payments as applicable to the requested service. Google processes Maps Platform requests under its Privacy Policy. We do not expose server API credentials in customer proposals.

Solar-data retention

Working Google Solar Building Insights and Data Layers are retained for no more than 30 consecutive calendar days and then removed from editable drafts and private analysis storage. Solar information incorporated into a fixed customer-requested energy design or commercial proposal may be retained with that transaction record. Access is limited according to the application role and proposal token model.

Choices, access and enquiries

Customers can ask their ArcSolar representative to correct proposal details, request information about a record, or raise a privacy concern. Some records may need to be retained where required for an accepted proposal, payment, project delivery, dispute, security investigation or applicable law.
